HOW did we get here?
When Rachelle’s son was diagnosed with Autism in 2021, she found herself at a crossroads in her nursing career. She left OBGYN, a career she adored, to prioritize her son and his needs. At the time, coworkers laid the idea for her to try her hand in medical aesthetics knowing her long history as an entrepreneur in the beauty industry. Loving the idea, she tabled it and began working in school nursing. Employed on COVID funding and not sure if she would have a job the following year, she decided to get certified in aesthetics.
That back up plan, divinely driven, led to Oolala Chic Aesthetics opening just two-weeks later with a rental space. A short time later she met Megan who was lashing just down the hall.They hit it off and with amazing exponential growth happening at Oolala, the two (kind of impulsively and again, divinely driven) decided to make it a partnership. Megan brought with her a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience in nursing.
Together, they complement each other in business and in the art of aesthetics very well. Megan is your hype girl, while Rachelle is thoughtful and observant. One is gregarious and the other is reserved but perceptive. They are basically the yin to the yang, Thelma and Louise, or if you're old enough to know - Luverne and Shirley!
MEET THE TEAM
Rachelle Wirtzfeld
Rachelle's journey to Oolala Chic Aesthetics began with the birth of her first two children. It changed everything. She went from being a graphic designer to a doula and a registered nurse, developing and strengthening entrepreneurial skills along the way in the beauty industry. She developed a true passion for women's health. This passion drove her to create a unique business where beauty and wellness are celebrated and embraced.
Fun fact - not one but TWO nurse practitioners she worked with in OB encouraged her to pursue a career in aesthetics. Although she knew it would be a career she could align with, her mission to help her son in his early diagnosis was greater at the time and she left her career on a prayer that her path would reveal itself. Her intuition kept nagging her about medical aesthetics where she could combine her passion for women, nursing, and creativity. God started loudly putting paving stones in front of her and in two weeks of becoming a Certified Nurse Injector, Oolala Chic Aesthetics was born and open!
Rachelle is now working full-time at Oolala Chic Aesthetics and loves to invest in learning new techniques, staying up on science and trends so she can best serve her clients. In her off-time she enjoys spending time with her kids, being with family and friends, traveling, and getting out on the "Chic Pontoon" during the summer.
